Love is all around as Prescot care home celebrates Valentine’s Day

Residents at John Joseph Powell care home in Prescot, Merseyside enjoyed an afternoon of singing and dancing as they celebrated Valentine’s Day. 

Celebrations kicked off in style at John Joseph Powell as Residents enjoyed a karaoke party, with people showing off their inner Elvis and Adele as they sang a number of all-time favourite love songs. 

Colleagues at the home prepared a delicious buffet filled with sweet and savoury treats, which guests enjoyed along with a slice of homemade chocolate cake. 

Stephanie Molden, Home Manager at John Joseph Powell, said: “Everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day as they sang their hearts out to their favourite songs.”
