Love is in the air at Ashton-under-Lyne care homeLove was all around at Hurst Hall care home in Ashton-under Lyne in Tameside as Residents celebrated Valentine’s Day.

In preparation of Valentine’s Day, Residents showed off their creative sides as they created heart-shaped love messages.

Residents wrote beautiful messages, including: “Love is when you find that special one that you want to marry again and again” and “Love is my husband, the love of my life.”

Colleagues at Hurst Hall also helped to arrange for Residents to send cards out to their loved ones, so they could receive a lovely message on Valentine’s Day.

Celebrations on the day included an afternoon of singing and dancing and a celebratory glass of wine.

Sid, a Resident at Hurst Hall, said: “I love to see my wife with a big smile on her face and the staff here have given me the chance to do it this year.”

Freda added: “It has been a great day. The staff make us all feel loved.”
