Love is in the air at Stockport care homeCelebrations were in full swing at Newlands care home in Stockport as Residents and their loved ones enjoyed Valentine’s Day.

Residents showed off their inner artists as they created flowers from tissue paper, love heart-shaped garlands and Valentine’s Day cards.

Colleagues at Newlands also decorated the home for the occasion, as each dining room was dressed according to the home’s theme: ‘We are family, we are love.’

There were smiles all around as Residents saw their finished products proudly displayed for Valentine’s Day, as one person said: “I loved learning to make the flowers. They were so simple but pretty and effective.”
