Mossley care home Colleague nominated for prestigious industry awardLouise Schofield, Wellbeing Coordinator at Sandon care home in Mossley, was delighted to be nominated for the Shining Star award at the CRISTAL care home awards. 

Sandon’s Home Manager, Lynne Campbell, nominated Louise for the award, which recognises individuals who have gone the extra mile and strived to achieve something beyond their normal job requirements. 

As an innovative and positive example to her Colleagues, Louise was deemed a strong contender for the award by Lynne. 

The awards took place at Dukinfield Town Hall, as guests enjoyed a performance from a live band, as well as a hot buffet and a refreshing glass of wine. 

Although Louise unfortunately didn’t win the award, she said: “It was a real pleasure and privilege to be nominated for this award. It’s all about making a difference.”
