Mossley care home receives kind donation from community football teamSandon care home in Mossley was delighted to receive a visit from members of the local under 7s football team.

Ten players from the team visited the home and brought lovely gifts for the Residents as part of their highly-anticipated annual visit, including delicious biscuits and chocolates for all to enjoy.

Sandon was also delighted to be presented with a generous cheque for £150, which the team fundraised at charity events and donated to the Residents’ Comfort Fund to help enhance wellbeing of those living in the home.

Joanne, Deputy Manager at Sandon, said: “It’s always a pleasure to invite the local community into the home, as our Residents loved getting to know members of the local team. We were so overjoyed and grateful for their kind donation.”
