Mountain Ash care home gets in the festive spirit for Christmas card competition

Residents at Aberpennar Court care home in Miskin, Mountain Ash got into the festive spirit as they created their designs for the HC-One Christmas Card Competition. 

Everyone loved designing and colouring in their Christmas cards, which included a snow globe, Christmas candles and a stocking full of toys. Some Residents even wrote their festive greetings in Welsh.

After each Resident had completed their Christmas cards, they had their caricatures drawn by local artist James, who often visits the home. 

There were smiles all around as the caricatures were completed, as Residents were thrilled with the final result. 

One Resident said: “I love my drawing, what a talent James has!”
