Musical exercise at Hornchurch care home
HC-One’s The Hornchurch care home enjoyed a musical time as they welcomes an entertainer to the home who hosted a musical exercise session.

Residents enjoyed taking part in the various upper and lower body exercises, with music to accompany the session. Residents then enjoyed fun activities as they guessed the title of each of the songs as well as the singer.

The activities helped to stimulate the Residents’ minds and increase their social interaction as they sang along to the music together, completing the exercises at the same time.

Home manager, Tania Banner, commented: “The activity is such a wonderful thing for Residents’ physical health as well as their social interaction and brain stimulation. They really enjoy music related activities.”
