Musical moments at Durham care homeThe sounds of Christmas time filled HC-One’s Melbury Court care home in Durham when Residents welcomed two musicians to perform in December.

On Tuesday 17th December, David Burton, a HR Administrator from HC-One’s Support Office in Darlington visited Residents at Melbury Court to perform a variety of instrumental renditions of classic hits from the 50’s and 60’s on his guitar. Residents enjoyed listening to David perform and thanked him for taking the time to visit.

Olivia visited Melbury Court on Christmas Eve to sing Christmas carols for Residents, Olivia’s father is part of the HC-One project team and came along to watch his daughter perform. Everyone was amazed by Olivia’s voice, as she sang silent night it brought a tear to the eyes of Residents and team members in the home.

Melbury Court Home Manager, Nicola Coulson said: “We are so grateful to David and Olivia for taking the time to visit us and provide such wonderful performances, we hope to welcome you both again in 2020.”
