Newton Heath care home introduces beautiful memory treeAverill House care home in Newton Heath has created a beautiful new memory tree as a way of remembering those who have sadly passed away.

The beautiful painting features a tree with leaves floating away in the wind and birds flying nearby.

The new addition to the home gives Residents a space to remember those who are no longer with us and to take a moment’s silence if they need one.

A memory tree has been added to both floors at Averill House so that it can be accessed by all Residents. People are also welcome to add a photo to the tree of those who have passed away if they wish to do so.

Margaret, a Resident at Averill House, said: “What an amazing idea and such a nice gesture.”
