Oh là là! All things French at Pontefract care home

Residents and team members at HC-One’s Priory Gardens care home in Pontefract celebrated French culture with a themed day on Wednesday 12th February. 

Priory Garden’s French Day was celebrated by all and included a variety of French cuisine, including, croissants and other pastries, as well as art, music, language and clothing which Residents discussed and shared their memories of France.

Residents enjoyed exploring the French culture and trying to recall words and phrases in French, everyone agreed that it was lovely day and are hoping to explore more countries’ cultures throughout the year.

Sarah Hudson, Home Manager at Priory Gardens commented: “It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved in the different activities and sharing their interests in different cultures and traditions.”
