Old meets young at Stafford care home

HC-One’s Maple Lodge care home was delighted to welcome children from the local school as they enjoyed an afternoon of fun and games.

Everyone enjoyed playing bingo together as the children began by taking turns to call out the numbers, assisting the Residents with checking their cards for each number.

The children had such fun helping the Residents, with both parties enjoying the interaction as laughter was shared.

Residents enjoyed reminiscing about their childhoods as they told the children of the games they would play when they were younger.

One Resident remarked: “It was so lovely to see the children, I enjoyed chatting with them and playing games together. What well-behaved and lovely children they are.”
