Oslo the reindeer visits Roker care home

Residents at HC-One’s Falstone Court care home in Roker, Sunderland were delighted to welcome Oslo, the reindeer on Monday 9th December.

Family members of Residents at Falstone Court decided to set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money for Oslo the reindeer to pay a festive visit to the care home. Everyone was delighted when the target funds were raised and Oslo was able to come and spend some quality time with Residents, visitors and team members.

A great time was had by all, one Resident commented: “It was wonderful to meet Oslo, he is such a beautiful animal and was so well behaved.”

Falstone Court Care Manager, Julie Merritt said: “What a special day! Oslo’s visit has really got us counting down the days till Christmas at Falstone Court.”
