Pamper time at Hornchurch care home

Residents at HC-One’s The Hornchurch care home enjoy regularly being pampered as the home welcomes a hairdresser each week.

During these sessions, Residents are given the option to how they would like their hair cutting, dying and blow drying, as well as other treatments available, spending an hour or so of relaxation as they sit back and enjoy their treatments.

Residents enjoy each session as they like to have a friendly chat with the hairdresser, discussing their weekly plans and activities they have done.

Colleagues remark at how great these sessions are for Residents as they always seem to give them a confident boost, increasing self esteem and generally boosting everyone’s mood.

Tania Banner, home manager, commented: “I am so pleased with the hairdressing in the home, it makes such a difference to how the Residents feel about themselves, it’s wonderful to see.”
