Pantomime fun at The ElmsExcitement was had at The Elms care home when Residents and Relatives enjoyed a pantomime in the home as part of a festive party.

Everyone sat as they enjoyed the performance of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, performed by actors from Eva Long Productions, sharing laughs with one another and interacting with the performers as they recalled watching similar performances as children.

The festive party in the home was also enjoyed by all, as family and friends were able to meet Santa in his grotto, with children receiving a present each from him. Santa also visited some Residents in their rooms before leaving everyone to enjoy the remainder of the party.

A buffet was prepared by the home’s catering team, before everyone took part in a Christmas sing-along.

Katie Coulson, home manager, commented: “It was so wonderful to see the Residents joining in with the sing-along and pantomime, the party was a wonderful success and we look forward to hosting the next one.”
