Penrith care home Resident helps find the right candidate for the job

Edna Bell, a Resident at HC-One’s Winters Park care home in Penrith has been busy this November assisting the team with interviewing candidates for numerous roles within the care home.

To help the team find the right candidate for the roles within the home, Edna offered to sit in on the interviews and offer some questions and advice. Edna sat in on numerous interviews, asking the candidates questions and helping the team with the review stage and making the final decision on who was right for the job.

Edna commented: “I really enjoyed it and was interesting to know how the process worked.”

Winters Park Home Manager, Kate Lewis, said “Edna was a real help with the interviewing process and we are now looking for more Residents to assist us with any future interviews.”
