Peterlee care home Residents visit South ShieldsResidents from HC-One’s Grampian Court care home in Peterlee visited the coastal town of South Shields on Monday 20th January for a traditional seaside lunch at an award-winning local restaurant.

The group headed to Coleman’s, a highly commended restaurant serving traditional fish and chips as well as other seafood dishes, everyone was excited when their food was served and commented that it was the best fish and chips they had tasted.

Afterwards, Residents enjoyed a walk around Richardsons Garden Centre where they chatted about gardening and how much they enjoy tending to plants in the summer months.

Emma Hume, Home Manager at Grampian Court said: “I am happy that everyone enjoyed their day out, it was lovely to hear all about the delicious fish and chips and wandering around the garden centre.”
