Picnic fun for Roxburgh House ResidentsHC-One’s Roxburgh House care home Residents and Colleagues enjoyed a reminiscence session, discussing their childhoods as they enjoyed picnics with their families, so a decision was made that an indoor picnic would take place for all to enjoy.

The kitchen team made sandwiches alongside other picnic snacks, whilst Colleagues laid blankets over the table, placing the food out for everyone to help themselves to.

Residents enjoyed the reminiscence this brought as they spoke of their favourite places to host a picnic with their families, which sandwiches they enjoyed the most growing up, and the types of games they would play at the picnics.

Home manager, Linda Wilkes, commented: “We had such a fantastic afternoon chatting and laughing with one another. It has been such a wonderful occasion for us to reminisce and enjoy.”
