Pony therapy at Penrith care home

Residents at HC-One’s Cold Springs Park care home in Penrith welcomed six-year-old American miniature pony, Poppy and her trainer, Katy on Thursday 7th November.

Katy and Poppy visited Cold Springs Park to spend some quality time with the home’s Residents, Katy spoke about Poppy’s beautiful blue eyes and beige colouring as well as her diet and lifespan.

Residents enjoyed stroking Poppy and admiring her wonderful colouring, some were keen to get a photograph with the lovely pony to show their friends and family. The visit was enjoyed by all, so much so, that Poppy’s friends will be visiting Cold Springs Park on Boxing Day for some festive pony therapy.
