Redcar care home Resident’s crafty wish comes trueKenneth Harvey, a Resident at HC-One’s Roseberry Court care home in Redcar had his wish to make his wife a one-of-a-kind birthday card and anniversary card granted by the team.

When chatting with the team about two important upcoming dates in his diary, one being his wife’s birthday and the other being their wedding anniversary, Kenneth had expressed how much he would like to make his own unique cards that you can’t buy in a shop to make is wife smile.

The team arranged for Kenneth to have his own arts and crafts session to make the cards for his wife with the help of some volunteers and staff. Kenneth worked very hard to make two beautiful cards and was very pleased with the final results, he thanked the team for their support and said he cannot wait to surprise his wife with the cards that she will cherish forever.

Roseberry Court Home Manager, Alishia Calvert said: “Thank you to our team and volunteers who helped Kenneth’s wish come true, his cards are beautiful and his wife will be delighted when she sees them.”
