Reflexology class enhances wellbeing at Bridgend care homeResidents at Glanffrwd care home in Pencoed, Bridgend have been enjoying a reflexology class each week, as part of the home’s commitment to Residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing.

Reflexology, a form of zone therapy, is known to strengthen the immune system and helps make people feel balanced, positive and energetic.

After introducing the class to those living at Glanffrwd, many Residents have been eager to experience the benefits of reflexology.

The class has gained nothing but positive feedback so far, with many people commenting on how they were noticeably more relaxed.

Marie, a Resident living at Glanffrwd, said: “It’s lovely to feel relaxed, I feel so pampered.”

One Residents’ daughters added: “My mum feels like a new person. She really enjoyed it.”
