Remembrance at Overdene HouseResidents at HC-One’s Overdene House care home came together as they created a wall of remembrance in the home to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.

Each Resident adorned their best clothing as they prepared to attend their local Remembrance parade, with one Resident donning his twelve medals, and another Resident wearing his medals for outstanding bravery.

Everyone enjoyed attending the local parade as they remembered the war time, thinking of those that were lost in the war, and shedding a tear at the amount of individuals who attended the event to show their respect.

Cath Burns, home manager, commented: “Everyone enjoyed themselves at the parade, Residents reminisced of the past, and friends they had lost, but it was lovely to see such a beautiful memorial.”
