Remembrance day at Birch CourtResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Birch Court care home came together to remember the brave soldiers of the war, as they reflected on the past.

Everyone in the home worked together to create two memorial displays for remembrance day as they created over 300 poppies to add to the display, and placed this in the home for all to see.

A memorial service then took place in the home, to remember those who gave their lives during the war, with some Residents reminiscing of their memories and experiences during the war time period.

Catherine Haycock, home manager, commented: “We are so proud of everyone’s efforts within the home, it was such a fantastic project for our Colleague, Pauline to assist with before she leaves the home for retirement.”
