Remembrance Day at Scunthorpe care homeBridgewater Park care home was decorated with poppies as Residents paid their respects on Remembrance Day 2019.

Residents paid their respects to those affected by the war as they took a moment’s silence and said a prayer, before sharing memories of the war with fellow people living in the home.

Wartime music was played throughout the day, while Residents and loved ones visiting the home enjoyed a selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and refreshments.

Many visitors commented on how beautiful the poppy display was, which Residents helped to create.

One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed the music that was playing, it brought back so many memories.”
