Remembrance day at Stadium CourtResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Stadium Court care home enjoyed a morning of reminiscence as they held a service in honour of Remembrance Sunday.

A service was held by the local Silverdale Church, with Residents reminiscing of the war and the brave soldiers who fought.

During the afternoon, Residents enjoyed singing along to a ‘war time medley’ of songs sang by local singers, which brought some fond memories back for Residents.

Colleagues were interested to listen to the memories from the Residents, with both sad and happy memories being shared of their experiences.

Trish McCaffrey, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed talking about their memories today, a wonderful turn out for such a special day.”
