Remembrance Sunday at St. James ParkHC-One’s St. James’ Park care home were delighted as they held a rememberance service within the home for Residents and Relatives.

A church choir serenaded the home as everyone sat down for the service, with a rememberance display adorning the walls, consisting of artwork created by Residents.

After the service, a war reminiscence session was held in collaboration with Bridport museum, which everyone enjoyed as they could explore a variety of war memorabilia.

Residents and Relatives enjoyed the afternoon, remembering the war and taking time to reflect on the past. Helen Ganfield, home manager, commented: “Everyone enjoyed singing hymns and reminiscing of the war period, the service was a wonderful way to remember.”
