Resident lends a hand at Sutton-in-Ashfield care home

There were smiles all around at Stoneyford care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield as Residents have enjoyed getting more involved in the home. 

Ron, a Resident at Stoneyford with a passion for DIY, has teamed up with Maintenance Operative, Martin, to lend a hand around the home. He has enjoyed helping to hang up pictures and measure things in the living areas. 

As a valued member of the team, Ron has been presented his very own HC-One Colleague badge, which he now wears with pride when helping around the home. 

Ron said: “I like helping, it gives me something to do.”

Martin added: “It’s lovely to see the enjoyment Ron has had helping me. I have really appreciated his company while I work!”
