Residents are smiling from ear to ear as a furry friend visits Stockport care home

Appleton Manor care home in Stockport was delighted to receive a ‘pawsome’ visit from a furry friend. 

People living at Appleton Manor were smiling from ear to ear as they enjoyed a visit from a fellow Residents’ family dog. 

Residents were keen to stroke the adorable pooch, as they took turns in giving him lots of cuddles and watched him perform some tricks. 

One Resident commented: “I loved cuddling him, he was so cute and reminded me of the dog my family had growing up.”

Wellbeing Coordinator Sarah said: “We have so many dog-lovers living at Appleton Manor, so it was great for them to meet a new furry friend. The Residents’ smiles lit up the room when they got to cuddle him!”
