Residents celebrate the day of love at Dukinfield care home

Love was in the air at The Beeches care home in Dukinfield as Residents and their loved ones enjoyed a delicious coffee morning for Valentine’s Day.

Residents were joined by their family and friends as they chose from a selection of different coffees, including lattes, mochas and cappuccinos, and sampled a delicious Valentine’s Day cake from Costco. 

As they enjoyed the coffee morning, Residents enjoyed singing to different love songs through the decades and read out their favourite Valentine’s Day poem. 

Ian, a Resident at The Beeches, said: “Those caramel lattes are tasty and the cake was nice and very sweet. It’s been a nice morning singing along to all the ladies.”

Mavis added: “What a lovely cake. It tasted beautiful. It’s been a nice and relaxing morning.”
