Residents celebrate the day of love at Ilkeston care home

Celebrations were underway at Ladywood care home in Ilkeston as Residents enjoyed a variety of exciting activities for Valentine’s Day. 

To kick off the celebrations, Residents took part in a dance and movement class, as they joined in with chair and standing routines to a playlist filled with upbeat music and songs. 

Residents also enjoyed a performance from talented singer, Eleanor Matley, who entertained Residents for a Valentine’s Day themed sing-along. 

The afternoon commenced with a baking session, which saw Residents making flavoured chocolates and truffles for them and their loved ones to sample.

One Resident commented: “I have loved celebrating Valentine’s Day with everyone at Ladywood. The chocolates were delicious and a perfect treat to end the day!”
