Residents create poppy display for Remembrance Day at Swansea care homeResidents at Peniel Green care home in Swansea created a beautiful poppy display in honour of Remembrance Day.

The arts and crafts session saw Residents design and create their poppies, which were all different shapes and shades of red.

As they got to work on creating the display, Residents shared memories of growing up during the war, as many had friends and family who served in the Armed Forces during World War 1 and 2.

Everyone was delighted with the finished result, which was a beautiful collection of poppies to represent Remembrance Day.

One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed the painting, it was a lovely afternoon in preparation for such an important day.”
