Residents enjoy a trip down memory lane at Garforth care homeResidents at Augustus Court care home in Garforth, Leeds took a trip down memory lane as they enjoyed a visit from Trish.

Trish visited Augustus Court along with her box of memories, as she revealed that trips to the cinema was the theme for her visit.

As she revealed items from her memory box, Residents sparked up conversations about visits to the pictures and how cinemas, or the ‘tuppenny rush’, had evolved since they were younger.

The day was a great success for all involved, as they enjoyed a selection of warm beverages and sweet snacks while taking part in the discussion.

One Resident commented: “We looked forward to the pictures every week and loved catching up with the movies.”
