Residents enjoy community visit at Rotherham care homeFormer police man Mick, a Resident at Silverwood care home in Rotherham, was delighted when staff arranged for a local police cadet to visit him in the home.

Mick is very proud of his background in the police force and loves talking about his career with Colleagues at Silverwood. After chatting with Mick about his role in the police, Care Assistant Jeanette arranged for her son Josh, who is a police cadet, to visit the home.

Josh and Mick shared memories of working in the police force, which Mick was extremely appreciative of.

Mick thoroughly enjoyed meeting Josh and said: “This young man will go far.”
