Residents enjoy February blossoms at Chippenham care homeResidents at Avon Court care home in Chippenham enjoyed a trip to Whitehall Garden Centre to see the beautiful blossoming flowers on display.

The visit began with a warm beverage in the cafĂ©, as Residents shared their memories of gardening when they were younger.

As they walked around the garden centre, Residents admired the different blossoms on display. Pamela wished to buy some amaryllis, as Avon Court has recently grown the beautiful plant at the home.

Residents were also encouraged to help pick some spring flowers for Avon Court to grow in the home’s planters, with lots of suggestions for different colours and varieties of plant.

Pamela and John thoroughly enjoyed the visit, as John said: “Thank you so much for a nice trip.”
