Residents enjoy glamorous makeover at Kirk Hallam care home

Residents at Ladywood care home in Kirk Hallam, Ilkeston enjoyed a glamorous makeover as part of the home’s commitment to Resident wellbeing. 

Janice and Donna, who live at Ladywood care home, were delighted to take part in the makeover, as they chose their favourite colour eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. 

The makeover was inspired by vintage fashion, as award-winning makeup artists Bonnie and Sam got to work on making the Residents’ wishes become a reality. 

Beauty therapy is a popular activity amongst many Residents, as it helps them to relax and promotes mental wellbeing amongst many people. 

The makeover was a great success, as Janice said: “That was lovely and relaxing.”
