Residents get moving with Zumba at Wigston care homeEveryone is keeping fit at Cedar Court care home in Wigston thanks to fortnightly Zumba sessions with local instructor, Jo.

A group of Residents participate in Zumba every two weeks, Jo plays upbeat music to help get everyone moving and demonstrates a variety of gentle exercises that Residents can do to promote mobility.

Everyone enjoys the Zumba sessions, one Resident commented: “This was a very good session, the music really motivates me and I always have a lot of fun.”

Cedar Court Home Manager, Louise McQuone said: “Thank you to Jo for providing such engaging fitness sessions for our Residents, they are an important part of promoting a healthy lifestyle which supports good physical and emotional wellbeing.”
