Residents have a ball at Braunstone care home

Residents at Grey Ferrers care home in Braunstone, Leicester had a ball as they visited Hollywood Bowl. 

Everyone was delighted to be given the VIP experience at the bowling alley, as they embraced their competitive spirit in an attempt to be crowned bowling champion for the day. 

Shirley had never been tenpin bowling before, so was happy to be shown the ropes by fellow Residents Gladys and Margaret. 

Shirley was delighted to win the game, with 100-year-old Gladys giving her a great round of applause. 

Once the games had come to an end, Residents enjoyed a tasty meal and refreshing drink. 

One Resident commented: “I thoroughly enjoyed bowling, I can’t believe how well I did!”
