Residents have owl the fun at Gittisham Hill HouseHC-One’s Gittisham Hill House care home were delighted to welcome three owls from the local Hawkridge centre.

Residents enjoyed cuddling and petting the owls, as they learnt various facts and information about the animals.

One of the owls treated everyone to a show as he flew around, stretching his five and a half foot wingspan for all to see.

Everyone enjoyed interacting with the birds as they took turns to hold the owls, asking questions and admiring the beautiful feathers.

Marita Westaway, home manager, commented: “It was such an amazing visit which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, Residents liked seeing the owls up close and learning more about the beautiful animals.”
