Residents have tee-rific time at Grimsby care home’s golf tournamentResidents at Brooklands care home in Grimsby embraced their competitive spirit as they took part in an indoor golf tournament.

16 Residents at Brooklands have taken part in a six week indoor golf course with Stuart Warren, a professional golf teacher.

Each week, Residents have taken part in a different gold course as their skills have improved, keeping count of their scores from each game.

In the final week, the team at Brooklands put on an awards ceremony, with Stuart presenting Residents with a certificate and medal.

During the ceremony, Residents enjoyed listening to music and tasting the selection of cakes and biscuits on offer, as one Resident smiled from ear to ear with their medal.

One Resident commented: “I used to play golf when I was younger so loved taking part in the tournament. I had a fantastic time.”
