Residents mark Remembrance Day at Stockport care homeResidents at Appleton Lodge care home in Stockport remembered those who had fought in World War 1 and 2 on Remembrance Day 2019.

Remembrance Day at Appleton Lodge began with a two minute silence at 11am, where many Residents and Colleagues paid their respects to those affected by the war.

Staff at Appleton Lodge arranged for an entertainer to visit the home and perform some songs from the war, as Residents sang and clapped along together.

Residents commented on how the entertainment brought back many memories from the war, as they shared memories about their experiences and sang songs from the era.
