Residents prepare for Valentine’s Day at Huddersfield care homeLove is in the air at The Oakes care home in Huddersfield as Residents got crafty for Valentine’s Day 2020.

Residents embraced their creative sides as they got to work on making Valentine’s cards, love heart decorations and paper roses.

As they created their masterpieces, Residents shared fond memories of celebrating Valentine’s Day with their loved ones in the past.

The arts and crafts session was a great success, with the most popular craft being the paper roses, which looked beautiful when arranged into a bouquet.

One Resident said: “I loved that! I can’t believe I made something so beautiful.”
