Residents put on dancing shoes at Uddingston care homeResidents at HC-One’s Highgate care home in Uddingston were delighted to welcome Tapfit instructor, Rachael for a seating tap dancing class.

A group of Residents came together in the homes lounge for a seated tap dancing class with instructor Rachael, everyone was given ‘tap straps’ which fit over normal footwear as well as some beautiful props including top hats.

Everyone enjoyed tapping along to the music and singing along to their favourite tunes, Residents enjoyed watching Rachael demonstrate a variety of tap dances and commented on talented she is.

Jennifer McKellar, Home Manager at Highgate said: “Thank you to Tapfit for providing an engaging and entertaining fitness session for our Residents, it was great to see everyone smiling and having a good time.”
