Residents put on their dancing shoes at Hinckley care home

Residents at Hinckley Park care home in Hinckley put on their dancing shoes for an afternoon filled with festive entertainment. 

Hinckley Park was delighted to welcome a talented singer to the home, as Residents sang and danced along to a number of all-time favourite hits. 

Mary Hayes, a Resident living at Hinckley Park, commented on how she hadn’t danced in years but would love to join in with her fellow Residents.

With the help of the kind Colleagues at the home, Mary was able to show off her dance moves and stepped along to the music, taking a hand from June, a member of staff at Hinckley Park.

Sharon Butler, home manager at Hinckley Park, said: “At HC-One, we are committed to providing the kindest possible care to promote Residents’ physical and mental wellbeing. 

“It was heart-warming to see June helping Mary to dance for the first time in years, which has really boosted her confidence and had her smiling from ear-to-ear.”
