Residents reminisce as Kirk Hallam care home starts scrapbooking sessionLadywood care home in Kirk Hallam, Ilkeston was delighted to introduce a scrapbooking session to encourage Residents to reminisce together.

Every Monday, Residents have been gathering together to add to their scrapbooks, which reflect each persons’ hobbies and interests, childhoods and memories shared with their loved ones.

Relatives have even joined in with the activity, bringing in personal items for Residents to include in their scrapbooks.

As they add to their scrapbooks, Residents enjoy sharing memories from their childhoods. Jean, who used to like dancing and wore 1950s dresses, commented: “I loved those days.”
