Residents reminisce over afternoon tea at Scunthorpe care homeResidents enjoyed an afternoon tea fit for royalty as Bridgewater Park care home in Scunthorpe hosted a World War One and Two reminiscence session.

The lounge was decorated in red, white and blue, dressed with flags and nostalgic pictures, as Residents enjoyed a selection of sandwiches and scones over a cup of tea or coffee.

After tucking in to the afternoon tea, Residents enjoyed taking part in a quiz and shared memories of growing up during the war.

The day was a great success as Residents reminisced together. One person commented: “How lovely to have sandwiches and scones, it was a great little tea party.”
