Residents welcome new furry friends at Swansea care homeResidents at Peniel Green care home in Swansea welcomed some new furry friends for an afternoon of animal therapy.

Representatives from the local Equus Ferus animal therapy centre visited the home for the animal therapy session, which saw Residents meeting Monty the Shetland Pony, Percy the dove and Seren the bunny.

As they stroked and cuddles the adorable animals, Residents were keen to find out about their diet, habitat and background from the animal therapy representative.

The day was a great success. Resident Heather loved meeting Percy the dove, who perched on her shoulder as she said: “I think Percy likes me!”
