Resident’s wish granted at Redcar care home

Joan Cummings, a Resident at HC-One’s Roseberry Court care home in Redcar had her wish come true when she surprised with a live performance from her granddaughter’s husband, Joel, who tours the country performing his Elton John tribute.

Joan and her husband, John, who both live at Roseberry Court had always wished to see their grandson-in-law, Joel, perform his Elton John tribute act, the couple had never heard Joel sing before and were delighted when the team at Roseberry Court had arranged for Joel to perform at the home.

The smiles on their faces said it all as Joan and John watched Joel perform, at the end of the show everyone gave a huge round of applause and commented on how talented Joel is.

Roseberry Court Home Manager, Alishia Calvert said: “It was lovely to see how proud Joan and John were to see Joel perform, I am so pleased we were able to make her wish come true.”
