Retail therapy takes a festive twist for Stalybridge care home Residents

Residents at Millbrook care home in Stalybridge, Tameside enjoyed a festive visit to the Trafford Centre for an afternoon of retail therapy.

Laurie, Barbara, Rita and Carole embarked on the festive trip to the shopping centre to get a head start on Christmas shopping, as they wandered around the shops admiring the beautiful displays and decorations. 

After Residents bought their Christmas gifts, everyone sat down for a bite to eat in the Mardi Gras-themed Orient restaurant. 

The trip was a great success amongst Residents. Carole said: “It was lovely”, while Barbara added: “Can we go again? I really enjoyed our trip today!”
