Roker care home celebrates success in CQC reportFalstone Manor care home in Roker, Sunderland – part of HC-One, the kind care company – is celebrating having received ‘Good’ in all areas in a recent report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The team at Falstone Manor were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report, which rated the home as ‘Good’, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.

Inspectors highlighted that Falstone Manor had developed good links with the local community and that people were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives. 

The report noted that Residents and family members were also full of praise for the team, with comments including "I think the staff and management all work together, it's like a lovely little family" and "I don't think you could make it any better, I'm happy with everything”.

Located on Cliffe Park, Falstone Manor offers short and long term care packages for older members of the community needing residential and nursing care. The home is also proud to have a 9.7/10 average user rating on the sectors leading comparison website, carehome.co.uk.

Falstone Manor Home Manager, Alison Hunter said: “We are delighted with the outcome of our CQC inspection, the whole team at Falstone Manor are dedicated to providing the kindest care for each and every Resident.”
