Roker care home Residents enjoy Valentine’s Day show from the King of Rock n Roll

HC-One’s Falstone Court care home in Roker, Sunderland welcomed local Elvis tribute performer, Mike Memphis for a special Valentine’s Day performance on Friday 14th February.  

Residents were joined by friends, family and members of the team to watch a wonderful Elvis tribute performance filled with classics from Jailhouse Rock to Hound Dog. A delicious buffet lunch was served after the show and everyone enjoyed sampling some homemade treats.

A great time was had by all with one Resident commenting: “It was a lovely way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the singer had such a beautiful voice.”

Falstone Court Care Manager, Julie Merritt said: “Thank you to Mike Memphis for providing such an engaging performance which had everyone singing and dancing all afternoon.”
