Round of applause for pantomime season at Eckington care homePantomime season was in full swing at April Park care home in Eckington as Residents enjoyed a performance of the Charles Dickens classic tale, A Christmas Carol.

Residents were joined by their loved ones for the production, which helped get everyone in the spirit of Christmas as they learned the story of Ebenezer Scrooge.

There was laughter all around as Residents listened to the jokes throughout the performance, joining in with the story when encouraged by the actors.

Once the show had come to an end, Residents and their Relatives enjoyed a selection of seasonal treats as April Park’s kitchen team prepared a delicious buffet.

One Resident commented: “I loved the show, A Christmas Carol is one of my favourite stories at Christmas time.”
